Modified Nationals

Well what can we say a BIG THANK YOU to all the members of Superior rides
for making the stand and show what it was over the weekend,
wouldnt of been anything with out you the members scrap that the friends of this club thanks again.

well heres a qwick review of the show:

After a bonkers week with mental ups and downs and then Friday morning in Detail, still rushing around to get shit done when we were supposed to be at the convoy point for about half 10, all i can say is what an awesome weekend.

Finally catching up to everyone else at strensham services seeing a sea of blue SR Hoodies and the sheer fact that it wasnt raining was a good start.

Anyway arriving at the showground after luke and leisha had gone ahead to find that they had pretty much picked out a camping spot that couldnt have really got any better, running water, security and right by the entrance...surely things couldnt get any better, the day was going soooooo well, something had to go wrong somewhere, after all this is showseason and more to the point its modified nationals...lol
Setiing up the marquee took no time at all, then the tents, while woods was over the main hall with julz getting the golf ready for the max power stand. Now time for the Beer.....
BBQ up and running, beer was flowing, weather was holding out and the music was fucking loud, which reminds me, cheers to John for the audio and beefs mate. Same goes to Nac for the BBQ and food etc..
Seeing everyone dancing outside the tent, whilst shorty and CSV provided the lighting effects reminded me what shows with SR are and were about! There truly aint no party like an SR party!

Waking up Saturday morning and seeing that there wasnt a single cloud in the sky was kind of confusing, awesome but confusing!

Time for a wander round,......

The show was better laid out that previous, there was more entertainment there in my opinion, such as the go carts and so on, clubstands were a lot bigger and better although not as many of them as previous years.
The inside was better laid out again, trade stands were the usual shite, although not as bad as most of the other shows lately. Some lovely new cars around.....
Honda Civic on the Fusion stand seriously had the best install and interior i have seen in a fucking long time, amazing fair play, the E46 beemer out the front with bezeeeeerk camber.

Saturdays evening entertainment we were looking forward to, sidewinder and godskitchen...so should be good, but in honesty i thought it was shit, so much so we all wandered back to the campsite and decided to have our own party back there, this time with lukes and rodders' cars linked up and providing the sounds till 2am ish.

Sunday morning, the weather couldnt be any better than saturday could it.....damn right it could. Pushing 29 degrees......

Sunday was a little more tiring though, everyone suffering from the saturday etc...so we pretty much just sat around on the stand and done fuck all, well apart from catch the sun.

All in all probably one of the best shows and definately the best weekend i have had since donny 2007, brought back what show season is about for me, being with your mates and having a laugh, nothing more than that!!

so cheers for everyone that came, hope you all enjoyed it half as much as we did.

bring on Ignition live!!!!!!
